Crafting Crew Skills
Beginning Hints:
These are the only Skills that continue to require training after initially learning the skill.
Every 20 skill points, new Schematics will be available to craft.
You are able to level your professions faster than you can use them.
Doing so will ensure you and your companions have the best quality upgrades available from your Crew Skills.
After learning your Primary skill, learn 2 more that fit it according to the chart below.
The First, Your Gathering Skill, is nearly required. Tho you could use another gatherer's mats if you want to do that. It is fairly easy.
The Second, Your Mission Skill, is Not required to level the profession, but is required for more advanced Schematics, specifically those gained from Reverse Engineering. Most Blue or better recipes will use these rarer Materials.
I suggest the first time you have a Mission skill that is doubled over, (Cybertech, Synthweaving, and Armormech all use scavenging for example) Learn Slicing instead, using another crafter to earn your rare materials, and Use Slicing to get more Schematics.
